Who we are?
Meazy is a digital advertising technology that provides targeted advertising and other marketing services via its demand-side platform and other targeting tools ("Services"). We provide our Services to our customers ("Customers"), who mostly operate e-store website or mobile application ("Digital Property"). Our Services are intended to help our Customers to provide end users ("End Users") who interact with the Digital Property with the most relevant and useful content that they may find interesting. More information is available on our Website, as well as in our Terms and Conditions.
What is personal information and its processing?
"Personal information", also referred to as "personal data" means any information relating to you that alone or in combination with other pieces of information allows the person that collects and/or processes such information to identify you as an individual. Such information may include your name, identification number, location data, or information related to your physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity.

"Processing" means any operation or set of operations which is performed on personal data, for example, collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, use, disclosure by any means (whether automated or not) and so on.
Legal grounds for information processing
We process your information based on the following legal basis:
  • the processing is based on your explicit consent to the processing of your personal data;
  • the processing is necessary to perform a contract to which you are a party (e.g. Terms and Conditions which constitutes a legally binding agreement between you and Meazy as regards to the provision of our Services);
  • processing is necessary for the purposes of our or third-party legitimate interests prescribed by the data protection legislation (e.g. processing your data for purposes of communication with you, informing you about any new services or amendments that you may find interesting);
  • the processing is necessary for compliance with our legal obligations.
In all cases, we will notify you about applied legal basis for processing and other relevant details before we start processing your personal data on the specific legal basis. However, we will not, if we are forbidden to do so in accordance with our obligations under any applicable legislation.
What information is processed by Meazy?
The exact scope of information that we process depends on the purpose and manner with which you visit the Website, interact with us and/or our Services. This Section describes all types of information that we collect and/or process from the Customers and End Users.
Information processed from the Customers
We collect and further process personally identifiable information, including, but not limited to your first name, last name, email, company name (e.g. store), currency of the Customer's business, Customer's domain. This is information that allows to identify you as a specific individual. We do so only at your request and the contractual basis applies to such processing. Without these data we will not be able to provide you with the opportunity of possessing the account on the Website.

We also provide our Customers with the possibility to pay for our Services directly on the Website via the third-party platform Braintree. Please note that we do not collect or process any of your payment data. Please read Privacy Policy of Braintree to be aware and fully understand how this service processes your personal information.

We do not collect any personal data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, or trade union membership, and the processing of genetic data, biometric data for the purpose of uniquely identifying a natural person, data concerning health or data concerning a natural person's sex life or sexual orientation.

We may also collect and process information that does not personally identify you. We may collect such data only if you give us a consent to do so. Such non-identifiable information may include your IP address, browser type, operating system, Internet Service Provider, network carrier information, device type, make and model, operating system, mobile advertising identifiers, operating system device identifier, the GPS location of your device (if opted-in), non-precise geographic information, limited to the country and city of the device location.
Information processed from the End Users
We process information received from the End Users using cookies that our Customer integrates with Digital Property. Such information does not allow us to identify the End User in any way (as well as we do not combine this information with other personally identifiable information), but makes it possible for us to provide the best possible Services to our Customers.

Information processed from the End Users may include, but is not limited to:
  • Session Data, namely, identifiers associated with the End User globally and on the current Digital Property, session identifiers, date of session, session timestamp, IP address, browser name and version, device name, model and type, operational system name and version, conversion identifier.
  • Actions Data, namely, identifiers associated with the End User globally and on the current Digital Property, session identifiers, date of event, timestamp of event, name of event, page classification, End User's activity page path, internal product identifier, duration of action.
  • Orders Data, namely, identifiers associated with the End User globally and on the current Digital Property, session identifiers, conversion identifier, internal strategy identifier, date of the order, timestamp of order, purchased product identifiers, identifiers of quantity of purchased products.
  • Conversion Data, namely, identifiers associated with the End User globally and on the current Digital Property, session identifiers, conversion identifier, internal strategy schema identifier, internal strategy identifier, identifier of traffic provider, identifier of bid response, bid price, type and date of conversion, timestamp of conversion, cost of conversion, identifier of platform (e.g. domain name) provided by supply-side platform (traffic provider), platform identifier obtained with JS script running on the webpage, hash of the End User's IP provided by supply-side platform, hash of the End User's IP obtained while processing a request server (used for anti-fraud mechanisms), ad visibility index.
  • Digital Property Content, namely, product name and description, stock keeping unit, product rating, price (as well as previous price), URL to product photo (stored on the Customer's server), product categories, product reviews.
Cookies and other similar technologies
Cookies are the small files stored on your internet enabled device (computer, mobile phone etc.) which allow to understand your experience on the Website. We also use pixel tags, some small blocks of code on a webpage that allows us to set, read and modify cookies.

Meazy uses cookies in connection with the Services we provide as well as to customize the Website to your needs, display personalized content, store your preferences, measure the promotional effectiveness. How we use your information?
We may use the information we collect and process for the following purposes:
  • To provide, maintain, improve, and develop our Services, products and features, their quality and relevance;
  • To combine and associate information we received with information our partners may collect about the End Users interactions;
  • To match and serve our Customers with targeted and relevant advertising based on the interests, activities and preferences of the End Users on the Digital Property;
  • To create sophisticated advertising strategies and measure their effectiveness;
  • To bill our Customers for the Services provided;
  • To ensure, improve, optimize and secure the work of the Website and your account;
  • To improve user experience and customize the Website due to the Customer's interests and preferences;
  • To prevent providing the same information to the same Customer and/or End User;
  • To notify you about changes to the Website, new or updated services and product we think may be valuable for you;
  • To prevent potential fraudulent, unauthorized, or illegal activity and respond to legal requests.

  • To our customers. Our Customers may use this information to compare, combine and associate with other information they have independently collected and/or processed to provide End Users with targeted advertising.
  • To our partners. Certain information may be disclosed to our partners who are also engaged to provide Services to you. This may include, but not limited to third-party supply-side platforms and ad networks. We may share with them information that is reasonably necessary to perform their functions, and conclude data protection agreements with them to comply with applicable data protection laws.
  • To any competent law enforcement body, regulatory authorities, courts or other third party where we believe disclosure is necessary: (i) in connection with a government inquiry, dispute or other legal process or request; (ii) when we, in good faith, believe that such disclosure is necessary to detect, prevent any fraud, investigate potential violations of our Terms and Conditions; (iii) to provide the security of the website, protect our property or legal rights, enforce our agreements or ensure other security measures.
  • Any other individual or legal entity after obtaining your explicit consent.
Please note that data will only be shared where necessary and to the minimal required extent, in order to provide the Customers with the Services they require. Where applicable, we secure such transmission by including standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission into our data processing agreements.
How we secure information?
We process your information using computers and/or other IT enabled tools. Our servers, on which we store such information, are located within the European Economic Area (EEA). We maintain the appropriate administrative, technical and physical safeguards to any accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, unauthorized alteration, unauthorized disclosure or access, misuse, and any other form of breach in regard to your personal information. These measures provide sound industry standard security.

Although we make efforts to protect your privacy, Meazy cannot guarantee a 100% security of any information you transmit to us.

How we retain information?
We retain your information for the period of time required to achieve the purpose of processing, or for the period prescribed by laws. In other words, we store your data as long as it is necessary to provide the Services and with regard to the applicable laws' and regulation requirements, as follows:
  • For the purpose of the Customer care – up to 5 years from provision of the Services;
  • For the purpose of execution of contractual obligations – up to 10 years from the expiry of the agreement;
  • For the purpose of direct marketing – up to 5 years from obtaining consent to data processing for the purpose of direct marketing or until your refusal from receiving marketing materials.

We may retain your personal information longer, if: (i) it is required under certain laws or to comply with law enforcement or other requests (e.g. those related to corporate governance, taxation, anti-money laundering and financial reporting legislation); (ii) there is a reasonable suspicion of fraudulent, unauthorized, or illegal activity; (iii) it is necessary to be used in the investigation, dispute/complaint resolution.

In some cases, we may delete your personal data on your request, as described below in this Policy. We may also anonymize your personal information (so it will be no longer associated with you) for analytical or statistical purposes.
